Refractive eye surgery or laser eye surgery may not be the best option for everyone. Qualifications to be a good candidate include:
- 18 years of age or older
- Stable eyeglasses or contact lenses prescription the past year
- No significant medical or eye problems including keratoconus, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, glaucoma, cataracts and corneal disorders
- No significant dry eye (although we can help you in this category!)
- Not pregnant or nursing
